We are working ourselves to death.
In 2015, over half of all working Americans didn't even use all of our vacation days. But yet we are still being overworked and overwhelmed. We are stressed out, risking our health, and women who take a vacation once every 6 years are more likely to develop heart diseases. So much of our lives are surrounded by our work, we have forgotten who we really are.
It's not enough to say, "I need a vacation"
Instead it's about having a strategic plan on how a much needed break can get to the top of our priority lists.
